In our professional lives, in all jobs and lines of work, we are constantly presenting and debating. We sometimes call it by different names - from board meetings to coffee-break chats - but in every circumstance effective action requires both reasoned content and successful communication. U SPEAK SMART here to let you learn and practice those skills with the best trainers from JCI. So that the next time you are in front of a client, the boss - or even your spouse -, you are confident that you will put your best idea across in the best possible way.
Project Purpose:
The project targets 100 students from public and private universities in Damascus in an effort to enhance public speaking and debating awareness and skills.
The projects main goals are:
1- To create more awareness on the importance of public speaking and debating skills.
2- To build up the confidence among young people to stand up and communicate in public effectively.
3- To train 100- students how to win any argument and debate, and give them the chance to demonstrate it in the final competitions in a public ceremony.
Project Phases:
1- Announcement of the project and the acceptance of applications (from 12/11till 25/11/2011)
2- Students interviews (from 25/11till 31/11/2011)
3- The team will target Damascus Universities Students
4- Conducting the training and the competitions (2-3/12 and 9-10/12)
5- The Final Contest and Closing Ceremony and (15/12/2011)
