JCI Damascus would like to invite you to BookBasket second event in Damasquino Mall - Damascus on 25-26-27 October 2011 from 6:30 PM. till 11:00 PM.

Under the slogan "Your old book is my new book"

The aim of this project is to encourage people and Syrian society to read more by exchanging their books to reflects positively on our knowledge and culture.

It is very simple you only need to bring your book “that you already read” and exchange it with another book from the baskets “someone else has brought it”

The conditions: no politic or religious books are allowed, and the books should be in a good condition.

Project Objectives:
• Encouraging young people to read more by exchanging their books with no need to allocating additional budget for more books.
• Enlighten the Syrian community about the value of self-education
• Greater awareness about the importance of reading
• Encourage people to exchange books and share their knowledge.
• Activate the Family role in encouraging their children to practice as reading hobby.
